Your Rugs Have Seen Some Things. We Just Make Sure It Doesn't Show.
Life happens. New puppies, dinner parties and decades of foot traffic. We built Rug Refinery to give New Yorkers a seamless way to protect their investment.
Skip the Stress. Choose Decades of Proven Quality.
Clear Recommendations. No Unnecessary Services.
Rug Refinery is built on more than 25 years of family experience in the rug trade. After years of overseeing textile care for top-tier brands, we realized something: the craftsmanship in this industry is beautiful, but the customer experience is broken.
We created Rug Refinery to fix that. We bring you the meticulous, generational expertise of a traditional workroom, but without the outdated hassle. It’s master-level rug care, backed by seamless booking, clear communication, and white-glove service.
"I grew up servicing rugs, so I know the actual work is complicated. But getting a straight price and an honest update never should be."
- Co-founder, Rug Refinery
What makes us different
A New York Workroom
We understand city living. From pre-war walk-ups to modern high rises, our entire digital and physical operation is built to handle the unique pace of New York.
Trusted by Customers
We’ve earned the loyalty of clients throughout the region. Rug Refinery provides rug pickup and delivery throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island.
Gentle, Effective Hand Washing
No harsh machinery or automated shortcuts. Every piece is carefully inspected and washed by hand to protect natural dyes and delicate woven foundations.
Non-Toxic Soaps
Standard cleaners use heavy detergents that strip wool. We use specialized, eco-friendly solutions that lift decades of dirt but remain perfectly safe for pets, kids, and antique fibers.
Easy Logistics
Backed by custom-built digital tracking and a dedicated crew, we handle the heavy lifting, the furniture moving, and the exact scheduling. You never lift a finger.
